About Me
My name is Ahmet Sahiner, and I'm originally from Turkey. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and spent a year working in a bank in Istanbul. Following that, I pursued marine engineering, which led me to work on three different types of vessels—bulk carriers, containers, and tankers—over nearly two years. In 2019, I moved to San Francisco with the goal of learning English. My journey in San Francisco started at City College of San Francisco (CCSF), where I initially struggled with coding classes. However, in 2023, I decided to pursue education in Salesforce administration and development. I have a passion for coding, and this time I succeeded in learning Apex, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, completing two projects that significantly expanded my knowledge.
Why I Am Attending This Class
I am attending this class to further hone my skills, practice coding regularly, and learn how to write code more efficiently and effectively. I believe that continuous practice is essential to becoming a proficient developer, and this class provides the perfect opportunity for that.
Recently, I developed a Leasing Management Application at the Salesforce course. During my internship, we developed a donation application for the education of orphans with a team named Moonlight on Salesforce. Our team consisted of 10 members, and I had the honor of leading this dedicated group. We worked diligently on this project for 3 months, starting every morning early to ensure everything was on track. We successfully integrated a payment system into the donation application, enabling secure and efficient transactions. Additionally, I have worked on a Bit Manipulation Encoder/Decoder app as part of a challenging assignment. You can check out the app here.
